NDT inspections demand a certain flexibility from the service providers and inspection engineers. UT, Phased Array and ToFD inspection equipment and probes are in most cases widely available to perform the defined inspection. The challenge can often be found in the details or accessories to make an inspection successful. We could describe the wedges as an accessories but one that has a big impact on the outcome of an inspection job.
The goal of NDT Plastics is to design, manufacture and/or adjust small quantities of UT, ToFD or Phased Array wedges with a short Leadtime to guarantee a successful inspection.
