Series 1, 2 & 3 TOFD wedges
NDT Plastic can provide standard 45°, 60° or 70° TOFD wedges based on a 3d-printed casing and a Rexolite delay. There are 3 standard series 3d-printed TOFD wedges available.
Series 1 is based on the Olympus UNEF 3/8 or M10 thread for standard weld applications
Series 2 is based on TOFD probes with M12 thread
Series 3 is based on deployment in a small bore scanner, thread type UNEF3/8 or M10
The wedges have integrated irrigation channels. Pivot holes for series 1 and 2 are 5mm, for series 3 the default is 3mm. On request the pivot hole diameter can be changed
The series 1 and 2 have wear carbides to reduce the wear of the TOFD wedge casing and Rexolite delay.
The 3d printed TOFD wedges can be curved to match any required curvature.
Leadtime based on a new design is between 1 and 2 weeks, default wedges can be shipped from stock.
